Grassfed + Finished Beef

At Wholesome Pastures our beef is packed with nutrients and tastes great thanks to our purely grass fed + finished management system that utilizes regenerative agriculture + cover crops.

Enjoy our beef knowing your carbon footprint is minimal as we strive to achieve a grazing method of 1/3 grazed, 1/3 trampled and 1/3 left behind. This allows the land to successfully regenerate (including the microbes, minerals and carbon) and feed our livestock. Naturally then, the water on the land becomes better managed and we create a truly holistic centred grazing program. We are passionate about the nutrient dense meat that comes off the field and how the cycles work: the microbes feeding the soil in order to feed the plants, in order to feed the animals that in turn feed the microbes and us. 

Our cattle graze all summer on nutritiously diverse cover crop and consume fermented bales over the winter.

At Wholesome Pastures, we take the opportunity to achieve a practice of least waste, utilizing the remaining parts of the animals for gorgeous leathers and hides. It would be foolish of us not to put the whole animal to use which is why we also get our offal packaged for our consumers are offer nose to tail ground beef. 

Additionally, we process at a local Abbatoire only 15 minutes away = less carbon emissions.

It's all, naturally in sync.
